Here’s a recipe for a wonderful, tangy, French salad dressing.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. celery seeds
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup vinegar
- ¼ cup catsup
- 1 cup vegetable oil
Directions
- Combine all ingredients, except vegetable oil, in a small mixing bowl. Mix well.
- Gradually add oil in a slow, steady stream, beating constantly at high speed with an electric mixer until thickened.
- Cover and chill thoroughly.
- Serve over salad greens.
Makes approximately 1½ cups of dressing.
