Tangy French Dressing

Here’s a recipe for a wonderful, tangy, French salad dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. celery seeds
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • ¼ cup catsup
  • 1 cup vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients, except vegetable oil, in a small mixing bowl. Mix well.
  2. Gradually add oil in a slow, steady stream, beating constantly at high speed with an electric mixer until thickened.
  3. Cover and chill thoroughly.
  4. Serve over salad greens.

Makes approximately 1½ cups of dressing.
